Kate Harris' first grade class has been visited by a number of community helpers over the past couple of weeks! Yesterday, Mayor Andy Grove visited the class to talk about his job as the Mayor of Alliance. The students heard about what his work day entails, how he helps Alliance and about what it means to be the mayor of a city. The students asked great questions and learned a lot from Mayor Grove! #RepthatA




The Free Community Thanksgiving meal is this Saturday from noon-1:30 pm at the Alliance Salvation Army! All are welcome to attend. #RepthatA


Thanksgiving break is just around the corner! Students will have Wednesday, Nov. 22 - Friday, Nov. 24 off for the holiday. School will be in session the Monday and Tuesday before break. Make sure your child attends both days so they don’t miss valuable instruction time. #RepthatA


At AELS, students who received a shout-out for excellent behavior from a substitute teacher got to participate in "Scoops from a Sub" for the month of October! We are proud of them for exhibiting exceptional behavior, even with a different adult in the classroom. #RepthatA

ACS held the first ever Futures Fest! The night consisted of a college and career fair with close to 80 vendors, a career fashion show and fun career exploration activities for our young Aviators.

All female students at Alliance City Schools are invited to celebrate with the 2023 Alliance Girls Soccer team on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 1-2:30 at the Rockhill Soccer Complex!

Crystal Gibbons' first grade class had a few special guest readers visit the past couple of weeks! The students heard stories from Superintendent Rob Gress, Director of Elementary Education Michelle Balderson and School Board President Tyler Kinser.

Megan Harper & Cindy Gaines held a fall activity day for their kindergarten families! The activities were designed to strengthen the students' fine motor skills. Activities included picking up pumpkin seeds & placing rubber bands around small pumpkins! #RepthatA

At AELS, staff members were treated to reverse Trick-or-Treat! Grown-ups normally hand out candy on Halloween, the administrators at AELS wanted to give the staff an opportunity to join in on the fun! Each teacher received treats to say thank you! #RepthatA
