The admin at Alliance Early Learning School found a fun way to thank their staff during the holiday season! Each day, the staff open a door on their advent calendar to reveal a gift. So far, they have opened a pair of holiday socks, chapstick and popcorn! The Akron Zoo has been visiting our Kindergartners! Each class will be visited four times with new and exciting animals making an appearance at each visit. The most recent animal visitors included a skink and a guinea pig. #RepthatA

Students at AELS and AES took part in a safety drawing contest hosted by Morgan Engineering. Six students from each school had their drawings selected to be in the 2023 Morgan Engineering safety calendar. Each school also received a generous donation. We are beyond grateful for our partnership with Morgan Engineering and all of our community partners! Did you know you can recycle old Christmas lights? Alliance City Schools has partnered with Keep Alliance Beautiful to collect old Christmas lights to recycle. They can be dropped off in the boxes outside of each building starting tomorrow through Dec. 16. #RepthatA

Today, Alliance City Schools, partnered with the Ohio Mid-Sized Urban Districts Leadership Collaborative, welcomed over 70 educators from across Ohio to conduct instructional rounds. The educators visited classrooms throughout the district to observe our students and staff and ended the day with sharing their feed back and suggestions with the ACS administration. We are grateful to all who attended today and we look forward to implementing the feedback to provide our Aviators with the best possible educational experience! #RepthatA
