
First Graders in Mindy Wolford’s class at Parkway ended their study on living and non-living things by participating in a scavenger hunt! Students made binoculars and went on a hunt throughout the school to find living and non-living things! #RepthatA





Students in Laura Stauffer's class at AMS took part in a team building activity. They had to build a bridge that would hold as much weight as possible. They were built out of straws, masking tape and a cup to hold the washers, which were used as the weight. Great job! #RepthatA

Third graders from Parkway and Rockhill visited Mount Union to see "Prospero's Magic Island," an adaptation of Shakespeare's "The Tempest." The students had a fantastic time! Thank you to UMU and the Theatre Department for allowing our students to visit! #RepthatA





Tech.O (Tech Bingo) is taking place for the second year at Alliance City Schools! Each teacher receives a Bingo card with tech related tasks in each square. Stephanie McKnight and Tory Shephard have completed two cards earning a Tech.O sweatshirt! Congrats! #RepthatA


The Media Arts students took part in the annual Aviator Shootout! They had two days to create a five minute film containing the required elements. The winning film is “Bad Blood,” an action film about a man’s battle between street life and family life. Great job to all! #RepthatA


Kindergarten students at AELS have been learning all about shapes. Students used geoboards to create shapes, design pictures using shapes, go on a shape hunt and find examples of shapes in the classroom. They had fun learning about shapes! #RepthatA

The NHS drive collected 2,377 items. The the second highest total in the 8 years the drive has taken place. All the items were donated to the Alliance Community Pantry. Congrats to the Freshmen class who won a movie and PJ day for brining in the most items. Way to #RepthatA AHS!

Students in Laura Stauffer’s and Perry Mann’s classes at AMS had the opportunity to interview ACS administrators along with community members as a way to learn interview skills and about open-ended questions. What a great opportunity this was for them! #RepthatA





ACC and the Robert T. White School of Practical Nursing took part in the annual College & Career Night hosted at AHS! What a great opportunity it was to showcase the programs available to the students following graduation. We enjoyed meeting and talking with many of the seniors!

The AMS Veteran's Day program featured three speakers: Second Lieutenant Jared McCully, Sean Walker and Marsha Alexander. Afterwards, the choir students had the opportunity to interview the veterans in attendance about their experiences in the military. #RepthatA
