Jayce (5th), Rylie (3rd), and Caiem Diaz (K) had a great time visiting Kings Island & Soak City this summer with their family! 🎢 They conquered their fears and rode roller coasters and water slides. Jayce even braved the second-biggest coaster in the park, and Rylie and Caiem rode rides in Planet Snoopy. The best part was the wave pool in Soak City, where they learned how to body surf the waves! 🌊

Sounds like you're having a great summer! 😎

Alliance Intermediate School recently hosted the Maximum Altitude Tech Camp for rising 5th and 6th graders! This week-long camp offers students the opportunity to learn coding and work with Sphero Mini Robots. 🤖 The week ended with a family celebration where students coded their robots to follow a parade route and built parade floats. 🎈

It was a wonderful event that encouraged students to build new skills and use their creativity to achieve the task at hand. We are grateful to the Greater Alliance Foundation and the Middleton family for their sponsorship of this event each year! #RepthatA

What started as a fun Halloween prank for students at Alliance High School last year has grown into something much bigger... the band Moonshot! 🎸

AHS teachers and alumni Mark Pisanello '12, Eric Peters '96, and Steve Cabassa '07 first performed together in the school lobby on Halloween as a surprise for students at the end of the day. After playing their first gig together, they decided to keep the music going and officially form a band. Since then, fellow AHS alumnus Joe Pisanello '04 has joined the group.

Want to catch Moonshot live? They'll be performing at the Carnation Food Fest tomorrow, Thursday, July 30 from 6-9 pm at the University of Mount Union!

We love seeing our staff members (and alumni) sharing their talents and having fun outside of school! 🎶🤘 #RepthatA
