Celebrating what makes our Aviators unique! After reading "The Best Part of Me," the 3rd graders in Chelsea Young's class wrote about their favorite parts of themselves.

This literacy activity encouraged writing while building self-confidence, self-love, and appreciation for their individuality. We are proud of our Aviators for celebrating what makes each of them special! ☺️ #RepthatA

#LikeAGirl is back for the school year! 🩷 The first topic explored was “Rooted in Strength,” where Stephanie McKnight spoke about how much we are like flowers and what we need to develop strong roots and grow strong. 🌷 Then all of the girls got to decorate their own clay pot and plant flower seeds to grow their own flowers at home. 🪴 It was so much fun seeing old and so many new faces at #LikeAGirl! 🩷 #RepthatA

AHS sophomore Elijah Johnson had an incredible opportunity to audition and be accepted into the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir! 🎶 He spent 18 days at the Ohio State Fairgrounds learning music, meeting new people and performing up to four times in one day! 🎤

During his time with the choir, Elijah was also named Chorister of the Day and recognized for his growth throughout the experience! 👏

What a great opportunity for Elijah to be a Courageous Risk Taker while collaborating with other talented choir students from across Ohio! Congratulations! ✈️ #RepthatA

Tracy Bowser's kindergartners read "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" 📚 They sorted pictures with a friend into "bucket filler" or "bucket dipper," then practiced giving compliments and filling each other's buckets with coins. The students then wrote a message on the back of paper buckets and walked around the building giving them to staff to practice filling others' buckets. 🪣

When our little kindergarten friend Charleigh was nervous to ride the bus by herself this morning, Mrs. G didn't give it another thought before jumping into action! 🚌 She met her and her mom at the bus stop and hopped on the bus with Charleigh and her sweet, little bear. 🧸

We are so proud of Charleigh for being a brave risk taker and riding the bus all the way to school with Mrs. G and her new friends! ☺️

Sometimes new experiences can be scary for our little Aviators, but we have amazing principals and staff members, like Mrs. G, who help to inspire our students to be courageous! ❤️✈🩵 #RepthatA #WinTheDay

The Stark County Fatherhood Coalition's Fathers Walk Your Child to School Day is coming up on Thursday, Sept. 17! 👟 Alliance Preschool, Alliance Early Learning School, Alliance Elementary School and Alliance Intermediate School will take part in the event this year.

All fathers and father figures are encouraged to participate by walking their child to school! This includes fathers, step fathers, grandpas, uncles, cousins, older siblings, family friends and any other father figure a student may have! 😊 #RepthatA

This policy is designed to ensure the safety and comfort of all spectators in attendance at Aviator athletic events.

Please review the information below for details on what types of bags are permitted and prohibited. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our Alliance Aviators! ✈

Alliance City Schools Bag Policy for Sporting Events. The flyer explains that the policy is intended to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all spectators at athletic events. Permitted bags include: Small purses or handbags Crossbody bags Fanny packs Clutch bags Diaper bags when accompanied by a child Small clear plastic bags containing necessary medical items, subject to inspection Prohibited bags include: Backpacks of any kind Drawstring bags Duffel bags Oversized totes or any abnormally large bags Additional notes: All bags are subject to inspection. Spectators without an approved bag will be asked to return the item to their vehicle. School officials or designees reserve the right to deny entry to anyone with a prohibited item. Bags used by media personnel must be placed in designated areas as indicated upon arrival. The flyer concludes: “We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school events safe and enjoyable for everyone.”

Alliance City Schools is part of the Stay In The Game! Attendance Network this year. This is a collaboration with the Cleveland Browns Foundation, Ohio Department of Education and Harvard's Proving Ground focused on improving students' attendance across the state.

As a part of the network, ACS received Cleveland Browns tickets to give away as a prize. We held a random drawing with all the names of students who had 95% or higher attendance during the 2025-26 school year.

Congratulations to freshman Levi Braisted for being the lucky winner! 🎉 He received the tickets and spent Saturday at one of the Cleveland Browns' preseason games! 🏈

A big thank you to Stay In The Game! for providing this fantastic incentive to one of our Aviators! ✈️

🌭 5:30 pm – Pre-Game Tailgate Party with Fizzy Co. and Dudley’s Food Truck at Mount Union
🥁 6 pm – Parade from AHS to Mount Union Stadium
📣 6:30 pm – Fall Team Introductions & recognition of the 1996 football team
