🎓 Zachary Butt 🎓

Zachary will be employed full time at Ohio Gratings Inc. as a welder following graduation!

During his time at AHS, he was involved in football, baseball, worked at Grinders Above & Beyond and currently works for Ohio Gratings.

Positive staff member:
"One teacher who made an impact on me was my welding teacher, Mr Peters. He not only taught me valuable hands-on skills but also helped me get my first welding job. He pushed me to take my work seriously and to always do my best, which helped build my confidence. Thanks to his support and guidance, I was able to start my career off right."

Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"One piece of advice I have for the class of 2027 is to take every opportunity seriously, especially ones that can help you build real-world skills. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, because that's where you can grow the most. Stay focused on your goals, but still enjoy the memories you make along the way because they won't last much longer."

What will you remember about AHS:
"One thing I will always remember about my time at Alliance High School is the hands-on experiences and skills I gained, especially in the wood shop and welding programs. Those moments in the shop taught me discipline, patience, and pride in my work. I will also remember the support from the teachers who pushed me to succeed."

Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In 5 years, I see myself working full-time in the welding field and continuing to build my skills and experience. I hope to be established in a solid job and possibly move up into a higher position. I also want to be financially stable and proud of the career I’ve built for myself."

Congratulations, Zachary! ✈ #RepthatA #AHSClassof2026
