🎓 Jenna Heslop 🎓 Jenna will be attending Washington University in St. Louis to study political science! During her time at AHS, she was involved in soccer, drumline, Jetsetters, Aviatrix, Choralaires, speech & debate, academic challenge, National Honor Society, FCA, #LikeAGirl, served as class president and she worked with Carnation City Players and Mount Union's Shakespeare at the Castle. What she'll remember most: "One thing I will remember about my time here at AHS is the relationships I have created with people I otherwise may have never met. Getting involved in various activities, especially the music department, has brought me some of my best friends and people I know who will stand by my side and be there to support me no matter what. 🎓 Jacob Spurlock 🎓 Jacob is employed full time as a welder/fabricator at MAC Trailer following graduation! During his time at AHS, he was involved in football, track, worked part-time at Dairy Queen and Ohio Gratings and took part in the welding career tech program. A teacher who made a positive impact: "Staff members that had a huge role in my development from a teenager into adulthood and into the workforce would be the welding instructors Mr. Peters and Mr. Fuson. They have had a major impact in my life in every possible positive way, from helping me get a car to get to and from work to working hard to get me into the program. But mainly working hard trying to land me my first welding job while in school. They have been such a major role in my life and hopefully one day I can be half the man they are." During her time at AHS, she was involved in National Honor Society, premedical professions career tech program and worked as a CNA in a nursing home. Advice for the Class of 2026: "One piece of advice I would give to the class of 2026 would be to be as involved as you can whether that be in school or out of it.
