AELS Kindergarten teachers celebrated Constitution Day last week with their students. They learned about why the Constitution was written and how it impacts our lives. Each class made its own Constitution, outlining expectations for Kindergarten. Great job, AELS! #RepthatA




Here at ACS we value self care and mindfulness. We know that it is important to take care of the whole self. Today Chris Gibiwicz, our curriculum director, led the first mindfulness class with some of the staff members. What a great opportunity for us here at ACS! #RepthatA


This week is Start With Hello Week! Annie Honer, Parkway's school counselor, visited Emily Bates' class; she talked about how to identify social isolation and encouraged them to say "hello" to every one they see. After talking with the students, they played Human Bingo! #RepthatA

The AES Fall Festival was fantastic on Saturday! Families were able to take part in the games and bounce houses and enjoy the food during the annual festival. Laughs and smiles were shared by all! Thank you to all who helped to make the festival a success once again! #RepthatA





Aidan Mozden, Braylon Nicholson, Isaiah Cameron-Pow, Kamden Jones and Dominic Dunson were recognized with the Caring Citizen Award at last night's BOE meeting! They were recognized for helping a community member before the Grand Parade in August. Way to #RepthatA!


PLEASE NOTE the 2019-20 School Calendar has changed. A Teacher Day has been added on Tuesday, March 17. Students will not have school that day. It is an election day and a number of buildings are voting locations. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. #RepthatA
