Addie Bender's and Trisha Bartel's 2nd graders at Alliance Elementary School completed their Animal Research Projects! 🐶🐻🦁 Students had to gather resources and conduct research then fill out a graphic organizer and complete a rough draft of their project. The students practiced their editing and revision skills before completing their final project on special stationary. The students also had the chance to learn how to draw their animal, make a Google Slides presentation and present their project to their classmates. It was a lot of work for our 2nd grade friends, but they did amazing and deserve a round of applause! Way to be awesome, Aviators! ✈ #RepthatA

Alliance City Schools hosts a monthly safety committee meeting with members of the Alliance Police Department, Alliance Fire Department, City Officials, the Alliance City Health Department and Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. During the meeting, the team discusses safety procedures, policies and scenarios so all entities are on the same page and can help one another out when needed. This week, the committee also had the chance to tour the new culinary arts room to see how the construction is going. We appreciate our collaboration with the various city entities and being able to share some of the great new things we have going on at ACS! #RepthatA
