May 7 is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We want to thank our Bus Drivers who are the first people many students see from the school on a daily basis. It is not an easy job, but we have a bud driving staff that is dedicated to the safety and well-being of all our students. Thank a bus driver tomorrow and let them know we appreciate all they do! #Acspresents

Students at Rockhill Elementary School hosted a Community Project Expo on Monday to show off their projects to local businesses.
Students selected and researched an Alliance business of their choice and built a 3D model of the building. The buildings were set up to create a mini version of the city of Alliance.
Students created businesses ranging from Buffalo Wild Wings and McDonalds to the Rodman Public Library and Silver Park.
The Buffalo mascot from Buffalo Wild Wings and the Bumblebee mascot from Applebee’s were among the more unique characters that came to see their businesses represented in the student’s projects.
Thank you to all the local businesses who showed up to support the students today! It meant a lot to them to meet you!

Today students from the Middle School were pampered by High School Cosmetology students. Some received facials and manicures, others got haircuts. Several groups of middle school students have been able to visit the salon throughout the year. #Amspresents #Acspresents

Fourth-graders in Danielle Kinsey’s social studies classes were highly engaged during a review game. Miss Kinsey used SMART Lab software to create a game using affiliation and novelty and variety. The students loved it! After the computer randomly assigned teams, students worked on answering questions to free their monster from its shell. What an excellent way to practice for a test!
