Alliance Early Learning School (AELS) is set to host an open house on Saturday, May 1 for all incoming kindergarteners.

Students and their families are welcome to attend the event where they will meet the kindergarten teaching staff and members of the building and district administration. Stations will be set up to allow families to tour a kindergarten classroom, learn about the resources provided to kindergarten families through SPARK, get involved in the PTO and even register if the child has not been officially registered.

\r\n

Each child who leaves as a registered kindergarten student will receive a “Clifford Goes to Kindergarten” book and a yard sign declaring them as future Aviators. Students will also be able to enjoy a snack after the tour and have a chance to play on the playground if the weather permits.

“We are extremely excited to bring so many new students into our kindergarten classrooms,” said Cory Muller, principal of AELS. “We value and take very seriously that every student’s future starts at the Early Learning School. If you are able, come on out on Saturday and meet our amazing staff members here at AELS.”

The open house will take place from 10 am - 1 pm. AELS is located at 285 W. Oxford St. Families will enter through Door 1.

This event is for incoming kindergarten students only.

Social distancing and mask protocols will be followed. If the parent or child is symptomatic, quarantine or have recently been around someone who has tested positive, please do not attend this event.
