AELS held ceremonies for the kindergarten students heading to first grade! Each class sang songs and each student spoke about what they liked about kindergarten! Good luck to the students as they make their way to Rockhill and Parkway next year! #RepthatA





Parents: The Free Summer Meals Program will once again be taking place starting June 3! This program is available to all kids 18 years old and younger! #RepthatA


The kindergartners at AELS had so much fun at Field Day last week! The students were able to alternate between stations including soccer, relay races, bounce houses, water games, dance parties and more. It was a great day for everyone! #RepthatA

AELS hosted the Community Preschool to Kindergarten Transition Day. This is a day set aside where the new Aviators from area preschools get an opportunity to visit their new school. We had a nice turn out from parents as well who were interested in learning about AELS. #RepthatA





Brett Smith is preparing the kindergarten students for the end of the year ceremonies at AELS. They are practicing hard to put on a nice presentation for their parents and families. They love music class as they get a chance to show off some of their cool dance moves. #RepthatA




AELS staff members celebrated Earth Day by purchasing beautiful shirts. It is a great tool to get conversations going with the students when they ask about the shirts. We can explain to them what Earth Day is and why we celebrate it in hopes that they will do the same. #RepthatA


The preschool team at AELS kicked off another season of preschool screenings! They welcomed the newest Aviators! The students were taken to the gym where they were welcomed by the teachers who did a few assessments with them. Principal Calfee met with the parents. #RepthatA




The AELS preschool team treated the students to a fun spring fling extravaganza. They had a great time rotating to several stations for hands on activities. Thank you to the preschool staff for providing such amazing activities for our students! #RepthatA





AELS is "Swinging into Spring!" Preschool classes read the book "Are You My Mother." They have been Spring cleaning, matching baby animals to their mammas, learning about animals, creating grass hats to celebrate Spring and enjoying recess and seeing signs of Spring. #RepthatA





Deb Sutton and Lisa Kinsey’s classroom celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a Green Party! The children participated in a variety of crafts such as making leprechauns and pots of gold. They sampled green food like pickles, peas, green olives and green juice! #RepthatA
