Last week, Erica Thompson and Deb Kelley's class learned all about their bodies inside and out! They loved learning about it and this week they will learn even more about taking care of their bodies as they move into learning about nutrition and health! #RepthatA

Kindergarten students in Karlin Morgan's class have been celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday this week. Today, they made green eggs and ham! The students cracked and scrambled the eggs and watched how to cook them. They all tried the eggs and most loved them! #RepthatA





Sergeant Ron Cox, of the Ohio State Patrol, recently visited the kindergarten students at the Alliance Early Learning School. He spoke to the students about his job and what he does to keep the citizens of Ohio safe. Thank you, Sergeant Cox, for visiting the students! #RepthatA

Team B Kindergarten teachers had a 101 Day of School Celebration with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities. The Students rotated through each teacher's classroom and completed activities to go with the theme of 101 Dalmatians. #RepthatA





Adam De Monte's class at AELS talked about music and students were able to try out different instruments at the house keeping center. They could choose from a variety of items ranging from a keyboard to maracas. #RepthatA



After learning about Breakout EDU in TBT time, AELS teachers invited TRTs Misty Sampson and Jon Smith into their classrooms. Misty and Jon led students through their own Breakout game based on the 100th day of school. Congratulations to all students who broke out! #RepthatA





Alliance City Schools will be closed Wednesday, January 30, 2019 and Thursday, January 31, 2019 due to the anticipated frigid temperatures. Alliance Career Center day and evening classes will also be closed. #RepthatA

AELS was excited to have a visit from Mr. Tristan, a representative from the Officer Phil program. He makes learning fun by doing magic tricks and ventriloquist acts. The theme for the show this year was "Be A Superhero, Always Do The Right Thing!" #RepthatA

The students of AELS had the opportunity to do some stargazing last week! Tracy Bowser, the star expert, brought the Star Lab to AELS. They enjoyed learning about the stars, sun and constellations. They even sang a few songs while enjoying the night sky.
